teachers : programme support

In order to support teachers in delivering the NFTE programme, the NFTE team provides a comprehensive support package to enhance the success of the programme.  Programme support includes:

• Friendly contact facility where teachers can have programme queries answered by the team
• Regular communications on new developments, resources, events and programme initiatives
• A kick-start session for new NFTE teachers that would like us to help launch programme
• A follow-up visit to evaluate the programme and provide direct support to teachers
• Network Days, connecting NFTE teachers to share ideas, experience and best practice
• 'Buddy' scheme, linking NFTE teachers locally to help support and mentor each other
• Student Trade Fairs, with trading of student businesses, networking and learning from entrepreneurs
• Student Business Plan Competitions, enabling student business teams to compete for prizes
• Youth Board, engaging the student voice into the work and developments of NFTE (London only)
• Resources and guidance for completing the BTEC Award in 'Preparing for Enterprise'.

annual membership

Our programme support forms part of a regular membership package with NFTE.  In order to access our support services, we simply request that teachers register with the team at the start of each year they are actively running the NFTE programme.
