A chance for students to win a trip to New York!

The annual NFTE Business Plan Competition is an opportunity for your business team to win a trip to New York!  The competition is open to all students across the UK who have completed the NFTE programme.  

Schools enter teams of up to four students who have set up their business over the year.  Each team must send a copy of their business plan presentation and supporting statement to the NFTE team.  Five successful business teams are chosen based on: creativity of idea; feasibility of the business; and financial capability.

The five winning teams gather at a prestigious site in London and are judged by a panel of entrepreneurs on a number of success factors, including:

• feasibility of their business plan
• ability to work as a team
• understanding of the market
• costing and finance
• presentation skills
