NFTE (the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) is part of an international network of partners working to inspire young people to transform their lives, through developing entrepreneurial attitudes and behaviour.
NFTE was founded in the US in 1987 by high school teacher Steve Mariotti, as a creative way of engaging young people in education and equipping them with key life, education and work skills. NFTE teaches and supports young people in the setting up and running of their own enterprise projects, and now operates in 13 countries worldwide.
In the UK, NFTE is also part of the Enterprise Education Trust, an umbrella organisation that comprises 4 distinct and complementary brands, offering a range of business and enterprise initiatives for young people. These include: businessdynamics; Blue Skies; and Achievers International.
