NFTE (the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship) was founded in the US in 1987 by high school teacher Steve Mariotti, as a creative way of engaging young people in education and equipping them with key life, education and work skills. NFTE teaches and supports young people in the setting up and running of their own enterprise projects, and now operates in 13 countries worldwide.

NFTE came to the UK ten years ago, and is nowpart of the Enterprise Education Trust. To mark the tenth anniversary of NFTE in Great Britain, we have evaluated our achievements and arenow working on introducing exciting changes to the NFTE programme, in time for our re-launch later thisyear.
